I'm trying to transition from quilting to sewing, and buttonholes are definitely intimidating. But I did my first ones yesterday and they turned out okay! :-)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805403370463885686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1283373390815827951.post-33559808049214192802010-06-20T05:26:49.195-07:002010-06-20T05:26:49.195-07:00Sew talented!!! And a good trick for buttonholes - you can always "practice" on a paper napkin - I usually have to do this because I can't ever remember which direction my buttonholer goes (whether I have to put the fabric edge toward the front or back of the buttonholer!) Also, get a very sharp pair of small scissors (like 2" blades) to cut your buttonholes with and you're less likely to cut something you shouldn't.Sarah Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18393284767325742399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1283373390815827951.post-88223119274926531992010-06-18T17:43:11.845-07:002010-06-18T17:43:11.845-07:00Nice job!
